As a songwriter, RK recently completed his 3rd solo album entitled “Kingsway,” predominantly written in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The record was officially released at three showcases in New York while also opening for the legendary and 2X Grammy Award winner, Levon Helm of The Band (vocalist, drummer & actor). Musicians on the “Kingsway” recording include; Steve Gadd, Jerry Marotta, Aaron Comess, Tony Levin, Daniel Grimsland, Gerry Leonard, Jesse Gress, Pete Levin, Bob Halligan Jr. and Steven Bernstein & Erik Lawrence of The Levon Helm Brass.
Based from “His House | Innsbruck Studios in Manhattan, N.Y., RK as an experienced singer/songwriter and musician has also shared the live stage with Joey Eppard, Three, The Pete Levin Trio, the Joan Osborne band & opened for the Legendary Levon Helm. RK as a noted drummer has performed on numerous studio recordings & live, notably the Mark Kostabi Group at the famous Iridium Club in New York City. RK has also completed 4 solo records to date.
