Buddy Love Releases “Crying Town”

MHN Management is proud to announce that Buddy Love, world-renowned power pop group, just released a new single entitled, “Crying Town” co-written by Tommy Byrnes (Billy Joel’s guitarist / Music Director) and Doug Khazzam (Founding member, Buddy Love). As of today, this hot new single graces the presence of iTunes, Amazon MP3, eMusic, Rhapsody, Napster, MySpace Music, Spotify, Liquid Digital, Verizon V-Cast, Shockhound, Nokia and CD Baby.

This song was produced by Tommy Byrnes at the Seaside Lounge in Brooklyn, NY. Tommy Byrnes is best known for his 12- year tenure as Billy Joel’s Music Director and tours with such artists as Enrique Iglesias, Brian Setzer and Joan Jett when he isn’t on the road with Billy Joel. Byrnes also recently achieved success as the Music Director of the Broadway smash, “Movin’ Out” as well.

Buddy Love is currently wrapping up its new album and this selective compilation will be a vast departure for the band musically. The release date is tentatively scheduled for August 2010.

Founding member, Doug Khazzam stated, “…this new album reflects a more accessible music adventure into the adult contemporary world.”

Also interesting to note is that Billy Joel’s daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, is contemplating a co-write with Doug & Tommy to release her own version of “Crying Town” and continues to work with Tommy on her solo music.
