Buddy Love is a power pop sensation well known to music lovers around the globe. With their hit single, “Sheila,” as well as their brand new single, “Crying Town” and many beloved fans by their side, Buddy Love will perform in NYC for the 4th upcoming IPO.
The International Pop Overthrow (or IPO, as it has affectionately become known) is a pop music festival which has been held for the past ten years in Los Angeles and also held in Chicago, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto, as well as in Liverpool, England.
The objective of the International Pop Overthrow is to give every worthy band an opportunity to play their music in a festival atmosphere and to bring pop music the attention it so richly deserves. David Bash, IPO founder, has made great strides to that end, garnering press in several noteworthy papers in each city in which the festival is held and creating a very positive buzz about pop music within the inner circles of major labels.
Each International Pop Overthrow features between 100-180 of the best pop bands from around the world. Buddy Love is being featured on Friday, November 4th at 11:00 p.m. at 269 Local on Houston in New York City. The band is also featured in an exclusive IPO compilation CD – on sale at the IPO shows.
Buddy Love is available for private venues as well as exclusive clubs around New York.
